YUM

Hi all!  As the fall semester approaches, I have found myself cringing at the thought of going back to school.  Summer has gone so fast; especially because of the unusually cool weather we have had which is tricking me into thinking it is already Fall!  Yet as I realize that I am starting up again next week, I have begun to accept the inevitable.

Anyways, I thought I would share a quick summer treat that I have been making lately.  Yep, iced coffee.  Really, my sister was the original conspirator, but I have also grown to love this drink, even though I am not a huge coffee person.  That's right.  I don't really like the taste of coffee.  Kill me if you must, but I don't think I shall ever truly love the taste of black coffee.

Here is the recipe.  It is super basic and you can add chocolate (or any flavor) syrup and whipped cream in you really wanna get fat :)  I used pure maple syrup to add to the flavor.  The last picture is a coffee that my sister made.  She used cappuccino flavored icecream, cream, whipped cream, coffee, and brown sugar.  I call it the calorie monster for a reason :)

SUMMER'S BEST:  ICED COFFEE

2 or 3 iced coffee cubes (I put them in an ice tray and freeze them...that way your coffee isn't watery from regular ice cubes)

cream - amount doesn't really matter; just to taste I guess

cold coffee - duh

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 tablespoon of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup

Whipped cream!!!!
